Bobcat hunts are truly the ultimate winter adventure in Pennsylvania predator hunting! Find yourself deep in the remote Pennsylvania wilderness, often in snowy conditions on cold, star-filled nights. Hunts can last up to 12 hours from your arrival to your departure. We can shorten hunting time to accommodate you if requested. We call in bobcats for our hunters by imitating distress sounds we have personally seen attract bobcats. Motion decoys may also be used.
We supply you with premium thermal scanning optics that turn night into day. We offer the best in firearms and custom-loaded ammunition. These can include an optimized semi-automatic shotgun and optic, premium F4 Defense small frame AR-10, or an accurate custom hand-loaded bolt-action rifle, both topped with premium thermal scopes.
Your guide is a professionally licensed Pennsylvania bobcat hunting guide. Our efforts to provide our customers with bobcat opportunities are unequaled. We work year-round, walking many miles, scouting for bobcat sign. In addition, we maintain up to 18 game cameras scouting for active bobcat locations.
Hunts occur primarily on large tracts of remote forest. This is a moderate intensity hunt which often occurs in cold temperatures and snow-covered conditions due to the time of year. Moderate walking is required, as well as the ability to sit/stand for over an hour or more at each location. Hunters are welcome to harvest other predators on bobcat hunts, such as fox and coyote.
Six fully guided bobcat hunts are offered each season, which typically begins in early January and ends during the first week of February. Hunters are required to have a valid bobcat permit and a furtaker license. (Note: Pennsylvania stops the sale of bobcat permits in December, so the tag must be purchased between July 1 and the end of November. All hunters can purchase a bobcat tag. There is no draw.) Licenses can be purchased at Pennsylvania retail locations (Cabela’s, Dick’s, Walmart) or online.
Our bobcat hunts often sell out a year in advance. We do maintain names in rare cases of cancellations. If you want to book a bobcat hunt, contact us as soon as possible.
Two-Person Hunt
Double the fun and bring a friend or family member and make it a two-person hunt for an additional fee. It is a great way to share the cost of a hunt and create memories together. Due to safety reasons, only one firearm is allowed at each hunting location.
Many areas we hunt receive no winter maintenance. If booking hotel rooms, opt for the free cancellation option in case extreme weather conditions prevent your hunt. If this occurs, we will refund your hunt deposit and give you priority booking dates for the following season.
